			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I believe that our lives are a direct result of our thoughts, both concious and subconcious.  As we are usually aware of our concious thoughts, it is easier to catch the negative ones and change them into positive ones.  However, no matter how positive we make our concious thoughts, our subconscious thoughts (or mind power) are more difficult to ideniify and can undo any positive concious thoughts.  They are often tied up with beliefs we learned in childhood that we may not even be aware that we hold.</p>
<p>Not everyone is inclined to look into <a href="http://2terriers.eentre.hop.clickbank.net">subconscious mind power</a>. If you were born a skeptic, you might have your own doubts too. You should know though that people who have decided to tap their subconscious potentials lead empowering and fulfilling lives. Here’s why you should discover your mind’s power too. </p>
<p>#1- You’ll be using your full potential.</p>
<p>The subconscious is not something you get from the outside. It has and always will be a part of you. You use it to some extent every time you make quick decisions, act on gut instinct or turn someone over to your point of view. But because you do not know that your subconscious is working, you may feel vaguely incomplete or less than what you are capable of. Discovering the true potential of your mind power will help put you at your best and help you perform better in your daily tasks. </p>

<p>Life is tough.  It doesn&#8217;t matter who you are or what you do, we all have to face many difficult and stressful situations.  Being at the effect of life can leave us feeling stressed, worried, angry, confused and frustrated.</p>
<p>And the way we feel affects everything in our lives.  When we feel bad, everything seems much worse than it is.  A bad mood is like a filter that prevents us from seeing the positive things in life.  Every little thing seems like another irritation.</p>
<p>If that&#8217;s something you can relate to &#8212; take heart &#8212; we all know what it&#8217;s like to feel stressed and frustrated.  The important thing is to have the tools to recover quickly and naturally, find yourself again, and get back on track.</p>
<p>Here are four tips to help you relax the body and mind:</p>
<p>1. Take A Break</p>
<p>When things are starting to get out of hand and you can feel yourself reaching threshold, STOP.  Finish what you&#8217;re doing. Take a break before you start anything new.</p>
<p>If someone is driving you mad, make an excuse and leave the room!  Go and take a walk.  Get some fresh air, find some calm within and then prepare yourself to get stuck in again!</p>
<p>2. Listen To Relaxing Music</p>
<p>Music can have a powerful effect on your state.  I&#8217;m sure there have been times when you heard a piece of music and suddenly you felt great.  We all know songs that make you tap your foot or remind you of being in love.</p>
<p>Create a collection of music to help you relax and feel good. Make a tape of those songs that make you smile to help you unwind.  Play it as often as you can&#8230;when you&#8217;re at home, when you&#8217;re working, when you&#8217;re in your car.  You&#8217;ll be surprised how good you&#8217;ll begin to feel.</p>
<p>3. Avoid Stimulants</p>
<p>Tea, coffee, fizzy drinks and chocolate all contain caffeine. Over the course of the day, this can add to your stress level considerably.</p>
<p>Why not prepare yourself a healthy alternative?  Bottled water, freshly squeezed fruit juice and herbal teas are excellent for maintaining your body&#8217;s natural water balance and helping you keep cool under pressure.</p>
<p>4. Use A Soothing Voice</p>
<p>Use a relaxed and soothing tone of voice, not just out loud, but also when you talk to yourself.  A soft, low, melodious tone opens up the relaxation circuits in your mind and helps you stay calm even in heated situations.</p>
<p>A friend of mine once told me &#8220;Life is a struggle.  But once you accept that, it becomes a lot easier.&#8221;</p>
<p>We can learn to deal with life&#8217;s challenges by setting aside some time to go to work on ourselves, developing a state of acceptance.  When we can learn to calm our minds and separate ourselves from our problems, we are on the road to significant improvement.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Needless to say, a healthy heart is one of the keys to a long life. However many of us continue to live a lifestyle that increases our risk of heart diseaese by smoking, being obese, having high cholesterol, <a href="http://2terriers.allinonehealth.com/health-and-beauty/general.php">diabetes</a> or high blood pressure.  In the United States, cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death. A study published by the AMA found that about 90 percent of people who had a heart attack also had at least one of the major risk factors mentioned above.</p>
<p>Take heart (please pardon the pun), even if your lifestyle is currently not helping your heart, you can reverse the process with the right changes and you don&#8217;t necessarily need drugs to do it.</p>
<p>Eating properly is a good first step.  I don&#8217;t mean a &#8216;no-fat&#8217; diet &#8211; your body needs some fat intake for good health.  High quality Omega-3 fatty acids, which are found in oily fish and fish oils, have been shown to protect against heart disease.  You need to eat sensibly to ensure that you get proper nutrition.  If you seem to have problems eating or digesting some foods you might look at the <a href="http://www.greattastenopain.com/cmdt.asp?id=764269">Great Taste No Pain program</a>.  </p>
<p>You may find you can eat the foods you need after all.  A good diet can supply you with healthy levels of the vitamins listed below, all of which have been linked to good heart health.</p>
<p>Healthy levels of Vitamin A can help prevent your arteries from clogging up. Eat more broccoli, dark green leafy vegetables, and any vegetables and fruits that are orange or yellow. Be careful if taking supplements as too much Vitamin A is toxic.</p>
<p>Vitamins B1 and B6 are both important in maitaining a healthy heart.  Whole grains, legumes, nuts (especially peanuts), fish (especially tuna), asparagus, Brussels sprouts, romaine lettuce, and crimini mushrooms have good amounts of B6 and  organ meats, brown rice, sunflower seeds, legumes, walnuts, bananas, avocados, seafood, lean meats (especially liver), and potatoes.  If you take supplements, a B-complex seems to work best.</p>
<p>Vitamin K is another necessary component of a healthy heart diet. Vitamin K helps to prevent hardening of the arteries, which is a common factor in heart disease and failure. Leafy green vegetables and natto, a fermented soy product, and eggs contain good amounts of Vitamin K.</p>
<p>Magnesium works in the same way as many heart medications and can be found in leafy greens, whole grains, nuts, beans, avocados, seeds, shrimp,and fortified cereals. </p>
<p>Another positive step you can take is to exericse.  It is not necessary to join a gym or fitness club.  Low impact exercise, such as walking or gardening, can have great benefits for your heart. </p>
<p>It is now becoming more and more evident that stress is a contributing factor to heart disease.  Stress can make itself known in many ways and can result from emotions such as anger, sadness, dispair, guilt that are not resolved.  You may not even be aware of the cause of these feelings<br />
but they have very real negative physical effects.  One way to help address these issues is through the use of<a href="http://www.emofree.com/a/?3702"> EFT</a>. It is a drug-free method of finding and eliminating unresolved emotional issues. <p>Other people find meditation is a good way to start the day and to relieve stress at the end of the day.  There are many different types of meditation.  I personally use several different types for different purposes. I particularly like the Ocean Meditation to start the day.  </p>
<p>You are not doomed to get heart disease. No matter the current state of your health, you can make major improvements by changing your lifestyle to one that promotes health rather than discourages it.  Remember to always discuss any changes you are making with your health care provider.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In an attempt to releive stress, I have learned many techniques for meditating but none has never been permanently successful because I did not seem to get the results I wanted with the amount of time and effort spent. I am always on the lookout for a &#8216;natural healing&#8217; method that I can use when ever I want, by myself, and see results quickly.</p>
<p>What I have found is a method called<a href="http://www.emofree.com/a/?3702"> EFT</a>, short for &#8220;Emotional Freedom Technique&#8221;. Now, before you click away, you should know that according research most &#8216;dis-ease&#8217; has it orgin in emotional issues of which you may not be aware. My first use for<a href="http://www.emofree.com/a/?3702"> EFT</a> was for relief of stress related to my job. While using EFT, a suprising number of thoughts arose that were related to feeling of stress that I was not aware I was thinking. It’s amazing how many little things can affect our stress levels!</p>
<p>In addition to stress relief, I have also used EFT to get rid of migraine headaches and help a friend relieve <a href="http://2terriers.allinonehealth.com/health-and-beauty/general.php">anxiety</a> related to getting lost in a foreign city. EFT is a method that is simple to do, requires no special skills and can be done by yourself, with a therapist, with or for someone else. It is common for EFT to be used for an extremely wide variety of issues, from stress and <a href="http://2terriers.allinonehealth.com/health-and-beauty/general.php">anxiety</a> as I did at first, to fear, pain (yes, pain can have an emotional component) and addictions to name just a few.</p>
